Posters

Posters should not exceed those of a vertical A0 sheet: 841mm (horizontal) × 1189mm (vertical)

 

Abstract Submission

A title and an extended abstract in English of about 600 words (not less than 400, not more than 800) must be sent in pdf format to the following e-mail address: jetc2013@ing.unibs.it . 

Title and abstract should be preferably formatted as in one of the templates (Word-RTF, OpenOffice or LaTeX) (only the title and the abstract, of course) contained in the file JETC2013-Templates.zip that can be downloaded by clicking HERE . 

Please make sure that you NAME YOUR FILE in one of the following ways:  

     Panel-X-abstract-VanDyck-JETC2013.pdf (this is reserved to invited panelists only)

     PostDoc-abstract-VanDyck-JETC2013.pdf (use this if you* are running for the selection**)

     Student-abstract-VanDyck-JETC2013.pdf (use this if you* are running for the selection**)

     Poster-abstract-VanDyck-JETC2013.pdf (this is for poster only, not running for the selection)

*Name the file using the Student/PostDoc last name even if not the first author.

**In the email, the authors should clearly indicate at this stage that they wish to participate to the selection for oral presentations by Students/PostDocs (thus participating for the competition for the best such presentation). 

Authors are welcome to submit multiple papers, however, only one paper (exceptionally two papers) per registered author will be accepted and included in the proceedings, and at most one oral presentation will be granted per PhD student or PostDoc.

Please remember that the only oral presentations during the conference will be by the invited panel experts and by a selection of  PhD students and PostDocs. The remaining papers will be discussed in various poster sessions. 

Paper Submission Guidelines

Papers must be prepared in English according to one of the templates (Word-RTF, OpenOffice or LaTeX) contained in the file JETC2013-Templates.zip that can be downloaded by clicking HERE  Papers must not exceed 6 pages length and 2 MB size (10 pages length and 3 MB size for invited panelists) and must be sent in pdf format to the following email address: jetc2013@ing.unibs.it  In case of more than one author, it is necessary to specify in the email who is the "corresponding author" to the effect of the registration fees (see below).

     Poster-paper-VanDyck-JETC2013.pdf (this for papers approved for poster presentation)

Regarding Color Figures, please note the following:

  • mount figures, tables and photographs directly in the paper in their final position

  • supply good quality material, but remember that your paper must not exceed 6 pages length and 2 MB size

  • make sure that color material be readable also in black and white: colors will be available only in the CD and online, whereas in the book of proceedings papers will be printed in black and white

Publication of the Papers in the Proceedings of the Conference

For technical, logistic, and economic reasons, we will include in the Proceedings of the Conference (USB drive and Book with ISBN) only the papers for which, on May 21, 2013, the "corresponding author" has completed the full payment of the registration fees according to the instructions given in the Registration section. Only one paper (exceptionally two papers) per registered author will be accepted and included in the proceedings.
